How do I buy a card?
Simply text CARD to 88022 for a £3 call credit
Simply text CARD to 88077 for a £5 call credit
The text message costs £3 or £5 (charged to you by your mobile provider) and for this we send you a calling card directly to your mobile phone. Your normal standard SMS charge will apply for the request SMS. Then you can use the access number to make cheap international calls from your mobile. |

How do I use Planet Talk Card?
Simply call the access number 0207 669 0999 or 0800 036 3535 in the confirmation text message, listen to the message, enter the full international number - do not press send again. That's it your connected and making cheap international calls from your mobile. |

What happens if I hit the send button on my mobile after dialling my international destination?
Our service works when you call our access number then dial your international destination without pressing send. Our service will recognise that you have completed dialling your destination number and connect you to your destination.
If you press send on your mobile, at any time, after dialling the international number you will put the call through your mobile provider's service. This will result in your mobile provider charging you for an international call. So remember, to continue to enjoy low cost international calls from your mobile, DON'T PRESS SEND after dialling your destination! |

What if I have sent a text requesting a top up but have not received a message back?
If you have enough credit on your phone, a confirmation message is normally sent instantly, however at peak times the confirmation message maybe delayed by the networks. DO NOT resend the message as you will be charged twice. If after a couple of hours and you have not received the message please contact our customer services team care@planettalkcard.com who will be able happy to help and resolve the issue. |

Are there any administration, subscription or other fees?
Planet Talk Card can be used to call any destination in the world. A connection charge equal to the outbound rate is applied to each call. The surcharge is 3 pence per minute for 0800 036 3535. 0800 access from a payphone is twenty pence per minute. 0207 669 0999 access is charged as your service provider's standard rate. Calls are charged per minute and rounded to the nearest penny. |

How much does a call to my country cost?
Check our rate tool and choose your country, the price to call that country is then displayed. This is the price per minute for your call and includes VAT the cost for calling the access number will be charged by your mobile provider or is included in your free minutes. |

Can I use Planet Talk from payphones?
Planet Talk Card access numbers for cheap international calls from mobiles are accessible from any UK phone, including payphones. However, be aware that calls from payphones could be surcharged and may cost more than the price stated on this website. Please check before calling if you are unsure |

How are my calls billed?
Your normal standard SMS charge will apply for sending the SMS to 88077 or 88022. You will be charged for the premium rate SMS received from 88077 or 88022, £5 or £3 respectively on your mobile phone bill. You will hear the amount of call credit you have remaining when you use the service. |

Can I use my credit to call from any phone?
Yes, you can. If you decide to make a call from a phone other than the one you sent your text from, then you will have to use the PIN number supplied in the confirmation text. |

When I ring someone abroad will they be charged for the call as well?
Normally the person receiving a call will never be charged. However if you are abroad with your mobile (i.e. not in the country the mobile number originates from) your mobile provider will charge you for receiving calls whilst abroad also known as roaming charges. For more information please contact your mobile provider. |

How do I pay, then?
The cost of the cheap international calls you make comes off your Planet Talk Card balance. To receive Planet Talk Card balance you need to send an SMS to 88077 or 88022 this will be charged to you by your mobile provider at £5 or £3. |

What is Auto top-up?
Our Auto Top-up function will make sure you never run out of credit during your international calls. Once your balance falls below £1 you will be topped up again with the original amount you topped up with (£3 or £5), to deactivate this service Text ‘STOP’ 88077.

Where is my PIN?
Planet Talk Card recognises your mobile number so you don’t need to enter a PIN to make cheap international calls. This makes international calls simple and quick! If you want to use your Planet Talk Card to make cheap phone calls from other phones follow these simple steps:
1. Dial access number 0207 669 0999 or 0800 036 3535*
2. At the prompt dial your PIN (provided with your second top-up or contact customer services)
3. Dial your international destination number |

What if I don’t have enough credit?
Don’t worry we will do our best to make sure you can make that important international call - If you don’t have enough credit for the top up you have requested we will try and retrieve a lower amount so you should be able to make your call.
We know it is not always possible for Pay as You Go customers to have the right amount of credit on their handsets when they need to buy a Planet Talk Card to make cheap international calls. We will try our best to give you some credit so you can make that important call to family or friends |

Why did I not get topped up the full amount?
We know it is not always possible for Pay as You Go customers to have the right amount of credit on their handsets when they need to buy a Planet Talk Card to make cheap international calls. We will try our best to give you some credit so you can make that important international call to family or friends overseas. Planet Talk Card has a system to top-up your phone with a lower amount if you don’t have enough credit for the full top-up, for example.

• If you request a £5 top-up but only have between £4.50 & £4.99 we will send you a £3 top-up and a £1.50 top-up.
• If you request a £5 top-up and have less than £4.50 we will send you a £3 top-up.
• If you request a £5 or £3 top-up and have less than £3 we will send you a £1.50 top-up. |
