How do I use Planet Talk Instant?
Call rates start from just 1p per minute and are billed by your service provider – all
you need to do is dial the correct access number then dial your international destination
& you are connected. You pay your provider for calling the original access number.

How do I sign up to Planet Talk
Instant’s service?
There is no need to sign up! Planet Talk Instant allows you to make cheap international calls at anytime with no account,
pre-payment or account to open. Just find the correct 0844 or 0871 access number
for your destination & dial whenever you want.

How much will it cost me to use
Planet Talk Instant?
* We display the cost of each Planet Talk Instant access number next to it. This is the price per minute for your call and includes VAT and the costs for the international part of the call.
An example call to USA for 30 minutes at 1/2p per minute charged (including VAT), from a BT landline will cost you as follows;
(30 minutes x 1/2 pence = 15pence)
Total cost for the call = 15 pence (including VAT at 17.5%)
The rates shown are what you will pay if you are a BT Together Option One customer. Calls made from mobiles and other service providers may differ so please check with your provider before making a call if you are unsure

Are there any hidden costs that
Planet Talk Instant isn't telling me about?
Planet Talk Instant will not charge you any additional fee for using cheap international call service. The price you see is the price you will pay via BT Together Option One. You do not pay Planet Talk you pay your provider for the 0844 or 0871 call.
Calls made from mobiles and other service providers may differ so please check with
your provider before making a call if you are unsure

Who will send me the bill for calls
made using Planet Talk Instant?
Planet Talk Instant will not send you a bill for the calls made.
The calls will appear on your normal bill from your phone company (BT, NTL:Telewest,
Virgin Media, Orange, etc).
On your bill you will see the Planet Talk Instant access number called and NOT the
international destination called; if you see the International number then you have
not dialled the Planet Talk Instant Access Number first and missed out on cheap international calls with Planet Talk Instant.

I think Planet Talk Instant has
overcharged me! Why is this?
Planet Talk Instant cannot overcharge you as the rate for this type of number is
regulated by Ofcom, & the bill for making the call does not come from us but
from your provider (BT, NTL:Telewest, Virgin Media, Orange, etc). If you believe
your bill is incorrect then you should contact your phone company in the first instance.
We will be happy to help in any way we can with any issues regarding overcharging
for your cheap international calls.

No, Planet Talk Instant’s cheap international call rates are the same 24/7. You
can call whenever suites you and get the same rate. So time differences when calling to India, Pakistan or any other destination don’t have
to effect when you call.

can I interrupt the Planet Talk Instant voice prompt?
No need to wait to make your cheap international call. You can dial your full international
number at any time during the message.

Can I use Planet Talk Instant
from my mobile?
Planet Talk Instants cheap international access numbers can be called from any UK
mobile, but the rate for the call to Planet Talk Instant’s access number may
be higher from your mobile than from a landline. The cost depends on your mobile
operator and which tariff plan you have. Your mobile operator controls this rate
and we have no influence on what they charge, and we receive extra money from any
higher amount. Please contact your mobile phone provider to check their rates to
our access numbers.

Can I use Planet Talk Instant
from payphones?
Planet Talk Instant cheap international call access numbers are accessible
from any UK phone, including payphones. However, calls from payphones may cost more
than the price stated on this website, and normally incur a connection charge for
the 0844 or 0871 access number

Can I use Planet Talk Instant
if I'm a NTL:Telewest/Virgin Media customer?
Planet Talk Instant access numbers can be used from most landlines including NTL:Telewest
& Virgin Media. The Planet Talk Instant access numbers will appear on your NTL:Telewest
or Virgin bill in the same way as if you were with BT.
The charge for Planet Talk Instant access numbers should be the same no matter who
your provider is, however, our low rates are only confirmed via BT and other providers
rates may vary – if you are unsure of your providers charges for calling our cheap international calls access numbers please check before using the Planet
Talk Instant service.

Can I use Planet Talk Instant
when I travel outside the UK?
The Planet Talk Instant service is only available from the UK. However Primus does
offer similar services from France, Holland and Spain so if you would like to make
a cheap
call from another country please check our Planet Talk Links page.

Why has Planet Talk Instant changed
my access numbers?
Planet Talk Instant is always trying to lower our cheap international rates. If we lower the rate to an international destination
the access number changes. Each 0844 and 0871 access number has a rate attached
to it so to change a rate to an international destination means to change the access
number.
I've tried to use the Planet Talk
Instant number but can't
Some providers 'block' calls to our cheap international calls service, or simply haven't 'opened'
them up on their network - you should contact your provider to find out more.
If you dial a 4 digit number before making calls (like Planet Talk Account) then your provider may not allow
calls to our cheap international calls access numbers. If this is the
case then simply call the Planet Talk Instant access number without using this 4
digit number to connect to the service.
