Economic recovery 'will be slow'

The UK economy will take some time to recover, an expert has suggested.
Jonathan Loynes, chief European economist at Capital Economics, said: "The general idea that the recovery could be relatively slow is the correct one to be putting across."
He stated that even if the economy begins to improve in the near future, any growth will be limited due to the significant problems it has faced in recent times.
Meanwhile, Britons looking to save money have been told that spending less on food does not have to mean eating unhealthily.
Sue Baic, a registered dietician with the British Dietetic Association, said there are lots of cheaper alternatives for fancy foods, such as opting for tinned instead of fresh salmon or rapeseed oil in place of olive oil.
