People urged to take action on debts as 'economy will get worse'

Consumers are being urged to take immediate action to reduce their debts.
The credit crunch is going to continue for "a long time" which means people need to "take action now", says David Kuo, director of personal finance website Motley Fool.
"Don't fall into the trap of believing things will be better tomorrow because I think things will be worse tomorrow," he warns.
Planet Talk Instant customers are already looking to save money by taking advantage of cheap international calls offered by the service.
According to the BRC-Nielsen Shop Price Index for March 2009, prices in food stores have seen a nine per cent year-on-year increase.
It found that overall annual shop price inflation reached two per cent.
