Cheap international calls: Virgin Blue lounge opens at Perth Airport

Virgin Blue has opened a new lounge at Perth Airport to provide a relaxing environment for passengers travelling to and from Western Australia.
The airline's new facility - known simply as The Lounge - has seating capacity for 120 people and is being officially opened today (February 4th) with a cocktail party for VIP guests.
Although he admitted that the lounge took some time to come to fruition, Virgin Blue chief executive Brett Godfrey expressed pleasure that "travellers now have a fantastic lounge to work or relax in, whether they are travelling during the day or on one of the evening flights after a long day on the job".
Virgin Blue was set up in 2000 – and its fleet has grown from two to 68 aircraft over its ten-year history.
The airline now operates more than 2,100 flights a week to 24 Australian cities and centres plus eight international destinations.
