Welsh students' short film could be used in schools

A short film about littering has won a group of Welsh students a much-coveted recommendation from Skillset Screen Academy Wales (SSAW).
The four minute-long One of the Crowd cost just £1,300 to make and is intended as an educational tool to raise awareness of Britain's litter problem, reports the BBC.
SSAW manager Hannah Raybould told the BBC: "It's going down very well and is having a longer life than we were expecting.
"The film has now won the support of Keep Wales Tidy and discussions are underway to use it as a social or educational tool perhaps for distribution through schools."
SSAW hosted its 8th annual Ffresh Awards Ceremony at Aberystwyth Art Centre earlier this month.
A total of 13 awards across categories including animation, fiction and music media were handed out by Welsh TV presenter Huw Evans.
Students from Glamorgan, Newport and Swansea Metropolitan universities were among those that picked up the accolades for their efforts.
