International calls: Ghana and Nigeria set for semi-final epic

Ghana and Nigeria will face each other in the Africa Cup of Nations semi-final tomorrow (January 28th).
The west African rivals will be competing for a place in the final after Ghana secured a 1-0 win over Angola, while Nigeria managed to beat Zambia on penalties after a goalless draw in open play.
Egypt and Algeria will contest the other semi-final tomorrow, with the final set to take place in Luanda on Sunday (January 31st).
It has been an impressive campaign for Ghana up to this point, given that they have been missing important players such as Michael Essien, Stephen Appiah and John Panstil.
Nigeria on the other hand will be hoping for a more convincing performance in the semi-final after scraping through against Zambia.
Meanwhile, Michael Essien's club Chelsea this week confirmed that the midfielder will be out of action for around six weeks with the medial knee ligament injury he picked up at the tournament.
