International calls: South African resort nominated for award

A holiday resort in South Africa has been nominated for an international tourism award.
Legend Golf & Safari Resort in one of three final nominees for the title of Africa's best development in the awards from Overseas Living magazine.
Votes are being cast online both by Overseas Living readers and by more than 35,000 industry insiders.
"This is an amazing end to an amazing year," said Peet Cilliers, chief executive officer of Legend Lodges, Hotels and Resorts.
"Just being nominated as best development is once again a testament to the work of hundreds of people on this massive project."
Last year was a busy one for the resort, he added, as it opened two golf courses, its first 100 luxury five-star suites, a wildlife and cultural centre and a swimming pool.
Overseas Living is a bi-monthly publication that was set up in 1999 and aims to provide all kinds of information relevant to those looking to invest in the international property market.
