Cheap international calls: Google Android 'could out-sell iPhone'

Google's Android mobile phone could end up being a more popular device than the Apple iPhone, it is claimed.
More than three-quarters (77 per cent) of respondents in a poll from OneNewsPage.com agreed that the new edition of the Android will overcome the iPhone.
And Fraser MacDonald, editor of Stuff Magazine, has said he agrees that Google's latest device could prove even more popular.
"Android supports the kind of architecture that is more multi-tasking," he explained.
Mr MacDonald continued: "Having the iPhone means you can only do one thing at once, so you have to close the app then go and do something else. Android is capable of having email and the internet all running simultaneously."
If Google is able to encourage developers to create even more apps for the Android then that will drive its success, he added.
