Football fans in Ghana will be marking December 6th in their diaries – as that is the date when World Cup tickets will be going on sale.
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) announced the news after holding what it said was a very successful meeting with supporters' groups over the issue of World Cup tickets.
Further details about ticket prices and the application process should be known next week, as the GFA has confirmed it will be holding a press conference on Monday (November 30th) to outline its plans.
World football's governing body Fifa has made 2,700 tickets per group game available to Ghanaian supporters, according to kickoffghana.com.
Meanwhile, the Ghanaian national squad face the important challenge of the African Cup of Nations before they can make their final World Cup preparations.
Ghana have been drawn in Group B for the three-week tournament in January, alongside Burkina Faso, the Ivory Coast and Togo.
