Ghana's Dr Tony Aidoo criticised for anti-Christian attitude

Ghana's New Patriotic Party UK and Ireland (NPP UK) has criticised the attitude of the government's senior minister Dr Tony Aidoo towards Christians in the country.
The party has suggested that the treatment of Christians by the government NDC Party has been unfair, accusing the Office of the President employee of subjecting worshippers to "verbal abuse and constant attacks".
NPP UK also criticised the Ghanaian president John Mills for remaining silent on the issue, suggesting that as a born again Christian he should have a better attitude.
Dr Aidoo's recent comments about Christianity have undoubtedly touched a sore point of community relations in many parts of the country, which may have been discussed in cheap international calls to Ghana from family in the UK.
According to the Accra Mail, some of Dr Aidoo's recent criticisms have focused on the good neighbourly attitude of a number of Christian worshippers, suggesting that they fail to adhere to the commandment "love thy neighbour".
