New mobile bundles will help meet EU regulations

Mobile providers are set to offer customers new internet and cheap international call bundles in an effort to meet EU regulations.
New rules on mobile roaming charges are set to be introduced from March 1st 2010, to prevent customers in the EU paying too much when making calls from abroad.
One of the mobile firms committing to provide new tariff options to customers is T-Mobile.
Commenting on the new plans, the operator's Ralf Pearson said: "As 40 per cent of customers say they want to take their laptop away with them to stay connected, we're launching Euro Broadband Boosters so they can do this without having to worry about the costs getting out of control."
The decision to amend regulations to reduce mobile phone calling costs have been welcomed by analysts.
Speaking earlier this week, mobiles manager at price comparison site moneysupermarket.com Mike Wilson said it was a shame that European chiefs had waited so long to make these changes.
He advised mobile phone customers to agree a cut-off point with their provider to meet their circumstances if they are not happy with the proposed €50 (£45) limit by EU leaders.
