Australian court overturns Samsung Galaxy Tab ban

Cheap calls to Australia may be common between gadget fans this week after the government overturned a ruling that temporarily banned the sale of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 in the country.
The case is part of an ongoing worldwide patent battle being fought between Apple and Samsung, as the US company claims that the Tab has the look and feel of the iPad.
Australia's Federal Court commented on the ruling today saying: "Samsung will be permitted to launch the Galaxy Tab 10.1 in Australia provided it keeps accounts of all transactions involving the device in Australia or originating from Australia."
The Samsung tablet device was scheduled to launch in the country on September 12th and has since been subject to numerous postponements due to legal complications as the case progressed.
