Nigeria bomb house explosion proves deadly

Cheap calls to Nigeria could be popular after an explosion at a house lead to the death of three suspected Islamic sect members.
Military reports suggest that the house was allegedly used to make home-made bombs in the north-eastern city of Maidguri and that this led to accidental deaths.
Lieutenant colonel Hassan Mohammed, spokesman of a special force deployed in the city, told the AFP: "The house was used by suspected members of Boko Haram sect as a major factory for the production of improvised explosive devices."
At the scene, police found "mutilated corpses" were found, with officials claiming that they were clearly killed in the process of making bombs.
These latest deaths come after a wave of attacks in northern Nigeria, which have been blamed on the rebel Boko Haram group.
This weekend the sect further threatened to launch attacks on the country's largest city of Kano if its members continue to be arrested.
