Filipino villagers catch one-tonne crocodile

Cheap international calls to the Philippines are sure to be popular as villagers in the Agusan del Sur province caught a one-tonne crocodile.
About 100 people pulled the beast from the creek using ropes, before throwing a fiesta to celebrate its capture.
The 20-foot saltwater crocodile is thought to have been the biggest ever caught in the wild, and was finally traced after a three-week hunt.
It is suspected that this crocodile was behind the murder of a child two years ago and a fisherman earlier this summer and a brutal buffalo attack.
However, authorities have warned that villagers in the area should still exercise caution as there may be a second dangerous crocodile still at large.
