Ryanair to add Polish jobs as part of expansion plans

Ryanair is to create more than 1,000 jobs in Europe as part of plans to expand its fleet and bases this year.
The low-cost airline could be the subject of cheap international calls, after it claimed that positions were likely to be created in its new bases.
These include Billund, in Denmark, Wroclaw, in Poland, Palma, in Spain, Manchester and Paphos in Cyprus.
The Dublin-based operator is looking to hire pilots, cabin crew, engineers, sales and marketing staff, boosting its overall workforce by nearly ten per cent.
Ryanair expects that its new expansion plans will increase passenger numbers from 76 million in 2011 to 86 million in 2012, with chief executive Michael O'Leary reportedly hoping to carry annual highs of 130 million passengers by the end of the decade.
New jobs are expected to be created in the UK, however details are still being finalised, a spokeswoman for the airline told the Press Association.
