Old Middle East 'has something for everyone'

Countries in the old Middle East such as Saudi Arabia are great holiday destinations, one expert has said, suggesting that more cheap international calls could be made from there.
Nadine Hallak, marketing and PR executive at Cheapflights Media, said that whether travellers are looking for relaxation or adventure, old Middle East countries are perfect.
"For intrepid travellers their huge mountains offer paragliding in the summer or skiing in the winter, as well as beaches and deserts at such low cost for real luxury," she added.
Ms Hallak continued that Middle Eastern celebrities such as Queen Rania are helping to bridge the gap between east and west.
This comes after the International Air Transport Association said that during 2010, Middle Eastern carriers reported 17.8 per cent growth, the strongest full-year increase.
Additionally, demand in December was 14.1 per cent more than the previous year's levels and 35 per cent higher than December 2008.
