Man who spilt whiskey convicted of assault on South Africa president Jacob Zuma

A racehorse owner in South Africa has been found guilty of spilling his drink on President Jacob Zuma, in an event likely to be the subject of myriads of cheap international calls.
Daryl Peense was convicted of assault for spilling whisky on the politician and he is to be sentenced in September.
Despite the 31-year-olds claims that the spillage was accidental, Mr Zuma said he meant to do it.
The incidence occurred at a horse-racing event in Durban when the whisky was spilt from a balcony onto the president's entourage.
However, the liquid did not actually reach Mr Zuma as he was protected by another bodyguard.
This comes after the president garnered a 49 per cent approval rating for the way he does his job.
The poll, which took place earlier this year, revealed that his highest level of support came from black Zulu speakers aged 19 to 34.
