Pietersen apologises for Twitter outburst

England batsman Kevin Pietersen has apologised for his angry reaction to being left out from the national squad that will be playing against rival team Pakistan.
The player sent out an explicit Tweet as a knee-jerk reaction to the selection decision, which was read by millions of people all over the world.
He has since apologised for the language used in the post as well as duly apologised to England's cricketing top brass, including chair of selectors Geoff Miller,
T20 captain Paul Collingwood, coach Andy Flower and Hugh Morris, managing director of cricket in England.
Pietersen said: "It came out in a way I didn't want it to come out."
"The Twitter thing was basically a direct message as anyone who is on Twitter knows you can direct messages to your friends," the cricketer added.
