American national parks 'offer a unique experience'

The national parks of the USA offer a "genuinely unique" experience for visitors, it is claimed.
All that is special about the country is encapsulated in the "range, beauty and vastness" of the national parks, according to Stella Clery-Ackland, UK representative for the United States Travel Association and DiscoverAmerica.com.
She revealed that there has been an increase in the number of families seeking a taste of the great outdoors while on holidays to the USA, with pursuits such as ranching, hiking and biking proving especially popular.
"The country is attracting increased visitors seeking soft adventure, heritage and cultural experiences," Ms Clery-Ackland added.
Her comments about the enduring popularity of the USA as a travel destination appear to be backed up by new statistics published by sunshine.co.uk, which suggest that bookings to the country have almost doubled over recent months.
