News brought to you by Planet Talk - the cheapest rates for international calls. In an astonishing incident, a mother's quick thinking could have lead to saving the life of her new-born son.
At the epicentre of the miraculous story from Australia is Kate Ogg, mother of twins, whose touch is said to have given the gift of life to her son Jamie.
Jamie, born as one half of a pair of twins, was declared dead at birth by doctors and handed over to the parents so that they could say their goodbyes.
Ms Ogg had however, unbundled Jamie's blankets to put the infant in direct contact with her skin as she and husband David spoke lovingly to the child.
It has been widely recognised by medical professionals all over the world that skin-to-skin contact could be hugely beneficial to babies.
This technique is being hailed as the reason that the baby Jamie finally starting gasping for air and showing signs of life despite previously being declared medically dead.
After Ms Ogg revealed the story, international media has swooped down on the family, often making cheap international calls to find out more about the incredible story.
