Celebrate the birth anniversary of Lord Krishna with cheap calls to India

The Hindu festival of Janmashtami, which commemorates the birth of Lord Krishna, has no doubt lead many people to make cheap international calls to family and friends all over the world.

In an official statement especially addressed to the people of Bihar, chief minister Nitish Kumar, said: "This festival is a symbol of love, universal brotherhood and communal harmony."
The regular course of events for the celebration sees devotees preparing 56 delicacies to offer the new-born deity as a welcoming gift. Idols of the Hindu god are also ritualistically bathed and dressed in brand new clothes.
Alongside greetings and gifts being exchanges among friends and relatives, people also recounted the special circumstance surrounding the birth of Lord Krishna.
