Indian pupils break world record by dressing up as Ghandi

People planning to call India in upcoming days may want to discuss a new world record that has been broken by Indian school children.
Nearly 500 boys aged between ten and 16 dressed up as political icon Mahatma Ghandi to commemorate the 64thanniversary of his assassination on January 30th 1948.
The boys wore skin-coloured head caps, fake moustaches, round glasses and the founding father's iconic khaddar clothing.
They marched through central Kolkata in west Bengal in honour of Ghandi who promoted non-violence.
His granddaughter Usha Gokani watched the parade and told the Metro: "I am moved by the passion for the father of the nation displayed by these children."
The group broke the previous record set in June 2010 when 255 students dressed up as Ghandi.
He was the leader of the Indian nationalist movement against British rule and is widely considered to be the father of the nation.
Ghandi was hugely influential through his no violence policy, which was used to achieve political and social progress.
