Could Afghanistan dig cause cheap international calls?

Afghan archaeologists are working furiously to try save Buddhist relics which were unearthed during the digging of a copper mine.
Reports of the uncovering of a 2,600-year-old Buddhist monastery and news that it will soon be destroyed could have sparked cheap international calls from panicked archaeologists around the world.
The seventh century religious site was unearthed along the famous Silk Road in the eastern province of Logar, Afghanistan by a Chinese company who are planning to build a mine copper in the region.
The monastery contains domed shrines known as stupas which archaeologists worry will all be destroyed once work on the mine resumes.
"That site is so massive that it's easily a ten-year campaign of archaeology," said Laura Tedesco, an archaeologist from the USA. She also suggested that three years may be just enough time.
This mine does not just represent history, however - it is said to be the centrepiece of China's renewed interest in Afghanistan.
China's interest is important to the country due to its floundering economy and current state of war.
