Special tiger force set up in Bangladesh

A task force is being set up in Bangladesh in an effort to save the Royal Bengal Tiger and other animals from extinction.
The move will no doubt please animal activists who are likely to make cheap international calls about the issue.
It is believed the force, comprising of 300 members, will be situated around the Sundarbans mangrove forests, which lie between Bangladesh and India.
Although poaching had not previously been considered the main threat to the tigers, the decision was taken after three tiger skins and many bones were seized.
Minister of environment and forests Hasan Mahmud told BBC News: "Their sophistication has been increased but the sophistication of the forest department has not been increased over the last couple of years. So, we have to train them and we have to equip them."
This comes after a male tiger in India was reported to be caring for two orphaned cubs in a highly unusual event likely to spark cheap international calls among animal lovers.
