Continental Airlines to fly non-stop between Houston and Lagos

Travel between USA and Nigeria will become easier as Continental Airlines announce the start of a new flight service.
Passengers can now take advantage of a new flight connection between Houston and Lagos scheduled for daily take-offs.
Travelling non-stop on the 787 Boeing Dreamliner, travellers will see their flight time reducing by over four hours.
The aircraft is set to accommodate 36 customers in the business class and another 192 passengers in the economy class.
Continental Airlines plans to cover the 6,500 mile journey over a span of 11 hours when travelling eastwards and 12 hours and 30 minutes when the aircraft is westbound.
Jeff Smisek, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Continental Airlines, said: "We are excited to continue to expand our international route network from Houston by adding nonstop service to Lagos.
"This flight will link two energy capitals and fill the growing demand for nonstop service between the two cities - a route which is currently not served by any other airline."
