Shoaib Akhtar 'dreams' of captaining Pakistan

Shoaib Akhtar has said that he harbours a strong ambition to captain the Pakistan cricket team.
"I hope that one day I will be given that chance before I retire as it's still my dream to captain Pakistan," he told PakPassion.net.
He revealed that he has held that dream ever since he was a young boy - although first he needs to regain his place in the squad.
Akhtar, 34, has not played any international cricket for the past nine months, although he stressed that he has recently been working hard to improve his fitness levels, as he strives to make his return to the highest level.
Meanwhile, the Pakistan A team lost a three-match Twenty20 series in Abu Dhabi against England Lions this week.
Pakistan A restored some pride by preventing a whitewash when they managed a victory in the last match, although they lost the series 2-1.
