A world boxing champion is standing for political office in the Philippines.
Manny Pacquiao, who recently won the world welterweight title, has launched his campaign for a seat in the lower house of congress.
The 30-year-old unsuccessfully stood for election two years ago.
He will be hoping that his popularity as a sportsman can attract plenty of votes, after he became the only boxer to have held seven world titles in different weight divisions.
Meanwhile, it looks like it is going to be a busy few months for Pacquiao, as it is reported that he is set to face Floyd Mayweather on March 13th.
The so-called "super fight" would surely capture the sporting world's attention, as the two men are considered to be the best boxers in the world today.
