Philippines deports Chinese nationals over fraud allegations

Officials in the Philippines have deported 67 Chinese nationals over allegations that they were involved in fraud, a decision sure to spark cheap international calls.
The Bureau of Immigration (BI) believes that the individuals were engaged in telecommunications, internet and credit card frauds in the Philippines.
Chief of the BI, Ricardo David Junior, revealed that the foreigners have been deported to Beijing on a special flight chartered by the Chinese embassy in Manila.
All of the 67 Chinese nationals are now banned from re-entering the Philippines and have had their passports cancelled by the Chinese government.
The group was found to be tricking customers in China and Taiwan to buy goods and services via online banking, however the money was than diverted to the criminal syndicate's account.
