Two Pakistani spinners make top ten cut

Two spinners on the Pakistani cricket team have made it into the top ten of the world rankings for the first time in 23 years.
Left-arm spinner Abdul Rehman and teammate Saeed Ajmal are among the world’s best spinners, with Rehman coming it at number nine and Ajmal at an impressive number two.
AFP News quoted Rehman as saying: “It’s good, a very good feeling and now I am in top ten and it is after a long time that two Pakistani spinners have come in the rankings.
“I am so happy that I am among those bowlers who are world’s best.”
Rehman was speaking following Pakistan’s victory over rivals England in their second test match in Abu Dhabi, bundling the world number ones for 72 in the second innings.
This marked England’s lowest in all Tests against Pakistan, so it might time to call Pakistan to celebrate the news.
In other news, eight Pakistani soldiers were killed when Taliban militants attacked them at a military post on Tuesday (January 31st).
