Bianchi lands reserve spot on Sahara Force India

Ferrari’s young French driver Jules Bianchi is to join Sahara Force India as reserve driver for the 2012 season, it was announced today (January 27th).
The 22-year-old will carry across his expertise in Formula One to partake in at least nine Friday practice sessions during the Grand Prix weekends, beginning with a pre-season warm up in the VJMO5 in February.
During the Grand Prix season many people may wish to make cheap calls to India, with Bianchi hoping the appointment will help develop his skills to become a better driver.
He said: “Being regularly in a current car is the best way to learn quickly and I hope it will put me in a strong position to one day move into a race seat.
“The next few months will be really exciting as I get to know the team, see how they work, and prepare for my time in the car.”
The Frenchman thanked Force India for giving him the opportunity to be a reserve driver, acknowledging those who had faith in his ability.
