There are currently some great bargain holidays to Dubai on the market, according to an expert.
"Airlines are releasing fantastic fares to Dubai in 2010, making package holidays the most attractive they have been in years," said Nikki Hain, product manager for Middle East, Indochina and the Indian Ocean at Premier Holidays.
She also pointed out that more hotels have been opening up, which means existing establishments are having to ensure they offer rooms at competitive prices.
And if people book well in advance, they may be able to take advantage of special offers such as free meal upgrades, Ms Hain added.
Meanwhile, new research suggests that Jamaica, Egypt and Dubai top the list of destinations where UK holidaymakers will have the most extra cash in their pocket, thanks to a strengthening of the pound over the past 12 months.
According to the Annual Post Office Travel Services Holiday Money Report, tourists can currently receive 12.6 per cent more UAE dirhams to the pound than in January 2009.
