Ghana's economy expected grow by 13%

The latest assessment by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is expected to encourage lots of cheap international calls home to Ghana, after it forecasted strong economic growth.
Ghana's economy was praised for recovering well since 2009 and was predicted to grow by more than 13 per cent during this year alone, thanks to a boost in business activity and an increase in the commercial production of oil.
Low inflation was found to be helping fuel the economic growth, thanks to stable national banks and achievable fiscal targets.
The IMF recommended that to avoid any debts Ghana should continue to strengthen public expenditure management systems to ensure that energy and regulated prices remain sustainable.
