Parents of Anuj Bidve cremate son in home town of Pune

The parents of Indian student Anuj Bidve who was shot dead in Salford on Boxing Day joined other mourners at his cremation in India this week.
There were emotional scenes as the open coffin was taken down a street in his home town of Pune, just a few days after father Subhash and mother Yogini visited the site of their son's death in the UK.
Twenty three-year-old Anuj was shot in the head at point blank range as he walked along Ordsall Lane with friends in the early hours of the morning on Boxing Day.
His parents collected belongings from Lancaster University during their visit, and met friends and tutors who knew him.
During his visit to the UK, Mr Bidve explained: "The only person we blame is the person who was responsible for taking Anuj away from us in this senseless act of violence on Boxing Day morning.
"We have made the journey from India in order to see Anuj, see the place where he died, and most importantly to take Anuj home with us."
