Tourists in Nigeria 'must visit the Oshogbo Sacred Forest'

Tourists travelling to Nigeria have been urged to visit the Oshogbo Sacred Forest, which will no doubt provide plenty of talking points for cheap international calls home to friends and family.
The attraction is a "weird and wonderful place", according to guidebook author Lizzie Williams, largely owing to the collection of unique sculptures by Suzanne Wenger which have been placed there.
Each of the works placed at the UNESCO World Heritage site is a dedication to the Yoruba spirit world.
In addition to Oshogbo, Ms Williams also recommends the city of Calabar for sightseeing.
She explained: "[Calabar] is surprisingly clean, friendly and pleasant to visit, with views of the Calabar River and the best museum in Nigeria which is dedicated to the slave trade and the colonial period.
"It's also home to two note-worthy primate projects to visit; The Drill Monkey Ranch and Cercopan, both of which can organise overnight trips to the Cross River forests."
