Pakistan train collision kills 2, injures at least 17

At least two people have been killed in a collision involving two trains in Pakistan.
An outbound train from Karachi hit a Lahore train killing two passengers and injuring at least 17 others.
The crash is believed to have occurred after an unexpected stop at a station near Lahore by one of the trains, which is believed to have collided with someone on the tracks.
An inquiry has already been ordered into the incident, according to railway police official Munir Chishti.
Speaking to the Press Trust of India, he added: "As the train was stopped there, another special Eid train - Khyber Mail - coming from Peshawar on the same track hit it from the rear resulting in the derailing of three bogies of the Bahu Rail and injuries to several passengers."
At least five injured passengers remain in a critical condition and have been taken to nearby hospitals while the track is cleared by rail authorities.
