Dell is set to launch Streak in UK

Dell has teamed up with O2 to introduce Streak, which falls midway between the tablet and the smartphone, into the UK telecommunications market.
Described as a "large" mobile phone, Streak comes equipped with a touchscreen measuring five inches and an 800 x 480 resolution.
It comes with a one GHz Snapdragon processor that functions on an Android operating system. A five megapixel autofocus camera and the ability to store up to 32 GB of data make the Streak a good option when dealing with large media files.
Ron Garriques, president of Dell Communication Solutions Group, said: "The Dell Streak hits the sweet spot between traditional smartphones and larger-screen tablets."
Plans are already in place to upgrade the device in order to incorporate use of Adobe Flash 10.1 and Android 2.2 by the end of this year.
Dell and O2 are yet to announce the pricing range for the Streak which will later be launched in the US.
