Ajantha Mendis breaks record in Australia Twenty20 victory

Ajantha Mendis no doubt sparked cheap international calls among cricket fans after becoming the first bowler to take six wickets at a Twenty20 international yesterday.
The Sri Lankan spinner led his team to a dramatic 2-0 win over Australia in the second match.
What was also impressive was his record across the whole batting line-up, taking six for 16 off just four overs, helping Sri Lanka to defend the 157 total, eventually triumphing over Australia by just eight runs.
Speaking to ESPN, Mendis explained: "I really enjoyed what I did today and I am sure that it will give me confidence. I just wanted to bowl a good line and length and that worked off. The wicket also helped me a lot."
Other highlights from the game included an impressive innings by Shane Watson, who scored 57 runs from just 24 deliveries.
However, his efforts proved not enough against a resilient Sri Lanka.
