Asamoah Gyan 'excited about UAE transfer'

Asamoah Gyan has expressed his excitement at joining United Arab Emirates (UAE) club Al-Ain, a transfer which will no doubt spark a flurry of cheap international calls from UK Premier League fans that have enjoyed watching him play.
The Ghana international completed a shock loan switch from Sunderland to the UAE this weekend, after reports surfaced that he had been unsettled on Wearside for the past few months.
Gyan said: "Al-Ain is an important club and this is a big challenge for me.
"We have quality players in the club to win games and do well in the championships. We shall try to build a winning team," he went on to add.
The Black Cats will reportedly receive £6 million for the deal, while Asamoah Gyan is expected to receive tax-free wages of £200,000 a week.
