Grass flip flops proving popular in Australia
Tuesday, Jan 31, 2012 Filed Under :Planet Talk Instant News
Flip flops made from fake grass are proving a big hit in Australia and the rest of the world, while appearing on plenty of fashion blogs. This unusual footwear has been designed and manufactured by Australian company KUSA, which has reported "amazing" sales of the product, reports the Metro. Fake turf is stitched into the soles of flip flops to give owners the same sensation as walking barefoot on a freshly mowed lawn. The firm has warned consumers not to mow the fake turf as they may damage the product. "Love the feeling of bare feet on freshly mowed grass?," states the brand's website. "Why not have that feeling anywhere, anytime. KUSA flip flops give you the opportunity to do just that." The flip flops are also naturally shaped by the individual contours of people's feet to provide extra comfort. If anyone wants to find out more about these unique shoes, they could make a cheap call to Australia to see if their friends or family have bought a pair yet. They are also available online for around £20.
