Out of business?

I phoned the other day and much to my surprise I had an instant reply. Hard to know what is going on but I was treated with courtesy and my account was topped up and is now working again. Will wait to see if automatic top up works.m People I used between times were very much more expensive through Virgin.

I have been with Planet Talk for more than ten years and have had no problems until this year when automatic top up has not been working. I phoned a couple of times and was assured it was now ok. However, credit has now run out and I can't make contact by phone or email. I don't want to change as I find the system cheap and easy. If I change and calls are routed through Virgin it seems I have to pay a lot more. Any answer?

I have been trying to top up my account for over a week, 0800 036 3839 just leaves you hanging on, if I have to listen to the theme of Love Story played on a tin whistle ever again I will scream. Sometimes I leave it playing unanswered for over an hour. What is going on? Same happens if you select Sales or Customer Service option. Has Planet Talk gone out of business? Frankly would be reluctant to top up now even if I could...would be wary that they might take my money for no service... I have at the moment had it on for half an hour and am still being told to hang on for the next available operator
I have been trying for days as well. If they dont get there act together they will start to find people will go elsewhere. There are some goods deals out there that beat there prices

They are still in business and finally got through at seventh attempt today, could give no explanation other than high volume of calls

You can use the following cards to recharge your account, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Switch and Solo cards. Due to banking regulations, we cannot store Switch and Solo card details therefore these cards are not suitable for manual and auto top up recharge options.
