Huntsman bows out of USA presidential race

Jon Huntsman is sure to spark cheap calls to USA after his campaign team revealed that he is dropping out of the presidential race.
The former ambassador to China and governor of Utah will instead now endorse frontrunner Mitt Romney for the Republican nomination.
Huntsman's campaign team announced news of his exit to the US media on January 15th.
His campaign manager Matt David told The New York Times: "The governor and his family, at this point in the race, decided it was time for Republicans to rally around a candidate who could beat Barack Obama and turn around the economy."
In what has been deemed a tactical move, it was decided that working with Mitt Romney would be the party's best chance for success.
Huntsman's departure now leaves five candidates in the race for the Republican presidential nomination.
